Beginning in February, we are resuming our popular programme of wine tasting events. Presenting an entertaining and informative evening of wine tasting and talk, each selection of wines will accompanied by a tailor-made menu. Each dinner will be hosted by a leading wine expert, often the wine-maker himself and will take you on a gastronomic journey exploring fine wines from world-class producers with the emphasis firmly on enjoyment!

FRED CLINE will be presenting some of the fascinating and delicious wines he makes in this 'Eco Winery' in California.
One of California's original Rhone Rangers, Fred Cline of Cline Winery was one of the first to grow Rhone varietals in the Carneros region, an appellation bridging the Napa and Sonoma regions of California. Carneros is a "cool climate" appellation, known for its Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot, and sparkling wines. Cline have been successfully creating styles reminiscent of the Rhone Valley such as a Syrah and Viognier as well as the rarely-produced varietals of Marsanne and Rousanne.
This eco-winery' has become a model in sustainability, minimising the use of non-renewable resources and avoiding the use of chemical pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers. Organic farming 'the green string way' from old vines, the wines produced have real vineyard expression and drinkability.
